Sigurrós G. Björnsdóttir (°1991, Reykjavik, IS) is currentky based in Antwerp. Sigurrós received her Master's in Fine Arts (sculpture) at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2021, but has also studied Art history and product design in Iceland. Sigurrós works in various media, mainly making sculptures and writing fictional short stories inspired by her surroundings and photographs she has been collecting through the years. Her sculptures are largely made from ceramics and concrete, they are simple shapes with added details in the form of drawings, photographs, or handmade objects that give the viewer clues about the story behind the work.
