Antwerp, November 14, 2024 – The Platform Antwerp proudly announces the new solo exhibition by Belgian artist Arthur Van de Velde, titled Consequences of a Regretful Trade with Kris the Crusader (Chapter 2, Waste Oil). This exhibition runs from November 14, 2024, to January 5, 2025, offering an intimate glimpse into the raw, uncompromising approach of an artist who breathes life into his sculptures using oil, grease, and found industrial materials.

Arthur Van de Velde is known for his use of unconventional materials. In this exhibition, he transforms industrial waste and leftover materials into sculptures that blur the boundaries between art and matter. Unlike the polished works typically seen in galleries, Van de Velde embraces the unfinished and raw nature of his creations, giving the exhibition a sense of being a work in progress.
