Alexandra Puşcaş (°1999, RO) has an infinite fascination with the possibilities of painting as a medium. In doing so, she challenges physical limitations in such a way that her canvases almost come to life and approach another medium, namely sculpture. Materiality, depth and surface form a framework around which the artist builds her practice. In her practice, large canvases overpowered by blue pigment are joined by smaller objects and drawings that as a whole explore the boundaries between the sculptural and painterly medium.

Alexandra received her Master's in Painting from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2022.
